Stored XSS via CSRF-induced privileged action
Published Feb 13, 2025 · Updated May 11, 2026
Stored XSS in Twitter Bootstrap Collapse aka Accordian Shortcode 1.0.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts via CSRF. The public advisory does not identify the request handler, affected parameter, or output sink that stores and renders the untrusted input. Exploitation requires a privileged user to perform an attacker-induced action, after which the stored script executes in a viewer's WordPress session.
