Subscriber-level arbitrary file deletion via unchecked paths
Published Mar 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Path traversal in the HelloPrint WordPress plugin 2.0.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files. An undisclosed plugin function accepts an attacker-controlled path without restricting it to an intended directory before deleting the referenced file. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, with consequences ranging from site interruption to code execution when a critical file is removed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
