Authenticated SQL injection via graph_template concatenation
Published Feb 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
SQL injection in host_templates.php in Cacti 1.2.29 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL queries. The template filter accepts graph_template with FILTER_DEFAULT, and the template list query concatenates that value directly into its gt_id clause. Low-privileged access to the host-template view is sufficient, exposing database confidentiality and integrity and allowing service interruption.
