Privilege escalation in NetApp StorageGRID 11.8 before 11.8.0.15 and 11.9 before 11.9.0.8 allows remote authenticated users to modify data. NetApp has not published the affected component or the operation that incorrectly assigns access to Grid node metadata and Storage Grades. A valid low-privilege account is required; exploitation reveals Grid node names and IP addresses or permits addition or modification of Storage Grades, without reported service interruption.
