Server-side request forgery in NetApp StorageGRID before 11.8.0.15 and 11.9.0.8 allows remote attackers to reset non-federated user passwords. NetApp has not disclosed the affected request handler, attacker-controlled input, or server-side destination used to reach the password-reset operation. Exploitation requires Single Sign-on to be disabled and can change the password of any Grid Manager or Tenant Manager non-federated user.
