CVE-2025-26489Network attack vector

Authenticated appliance reboot via crafted Netconf XML

Published Dec 8, 2025 · Updated Dec 8, 2025

Improper input validation in the Infinera MTC-9 Netconf service allows remote authenticated users to reboot the appliance via crafted XML payloads. The service fails to validate attacker-controlled XML before processing it, causing the Netconf service to crash and the appliance to reboot.
