Unauthenticated user enumeration via distinct login errors
Published Mar 19, 2025 · Updated Jul 2, 2025
Information exposure in Beta 80 Life 1st 1.5.2.14234 allows remote attackers to enumerate Identity Manager users via authentication REST APIs. The APIs return distinguishable errors for a nonexistent username and a valid username paired with an incorrect password. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the observable discrepancy discloses only whether an account is registered.
