CVE-2025-26478

Unauthenticated information disclosure via certificate validation

Published Apr 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

Improper certificate validation in Dell Technologies ECS 3.8.1.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose information over adjacent networks. Dell identifies only proprietary code and has not published the affected component, certificate-handling path, or incorrect validation operation. Exploitation requires unauthenticated access from an adjacent network and is limited to information disclosure, with no reported write or service-interruption impact.
