Local credential disclosure via missing caller verification
Published Sep 4, 2025 · Updated Sep 5, 2025
Missing authorization in Android 15 Framework allows local users to retrieve candidate credentials without user interaction. CredentialManagerServiceStub.getCandidateCredentials fails to verify that the Binder caller is the configured credential autofill service before returning candidate data. A local low-privileged process can access credential candidates without additional execution privileges; the published impact is limited to disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
