Hidden functionality in SIMCom SIM7600G firmware LE20B03SIM7600M21-A allows attackers to execute root commands via AT+CSHELL. The undocumented AT+CSHELL command accepts a quoted operating-system command and runs it with root permissions; a demonstrated id command returns uid 0. Reachability requires physical access to the modem or remote shell access to a device that directly exposes the modem's AT-command interface.
