CVE-2025-26411Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated root code execution via Python plugin upload

Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in the Wattsense Bridge Plugin Manager before 6.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to obtain root access. The Plugin Manager accepts an attacker-supplied Python plugin and executes its initialization code with root privileges on the device. A valid account for the Wattsense web interface is required, after which arbitrary commands run as root and can fully control the gateway.
