Weak password encoding in all versions of JTEKT ELECTRONICS CORPORATION HMI ViewJet C-more series allows local users to obtain credentials. Project files store passwords with weak encoding, allowing their recovery by anyone who gains access to those files. Local authenticated access and access to project files are required; recovered passwords can expose protected projects or permit arbitrary password changes.
