Unauthenticated command execution via AjaxProxy deserialization
Published Sep 23, 2025 · Updated Sep 23, 2025
Deserialization in SolarWinds Web Help Desk 12.8.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands through AjaxProxy. AjaxProxy deserializes attacker-supplied data, but SolarWinds has not disclosed the affected method or the precise filtering gap. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary commands in the Web Help Desk application context.
