Broken access control in SolarWinds Service Desk version 01-28-2025 allows remote authenticated users to override ticket states. Ticket-state update handling accepts state changes from requesters who lack authorization for the requested transition. Requester access is required; exploitation redirects ticket flows, changes process behavior, and permits unauthorized data manipulation.
