Weak pseudorandom generation in Johnson Controls PowerG 53.02 and earlier allows adjacent attackers to read or inject encrypted packets. The implementation uses a weak pseudorandom generator for packet cryptography; Johnson Controls has not disclosed the generator or code locus. Exploitation requires adjacent wireless access but no privileges or user interaction, and it enables packet disclosure or injection rather than host code execution.
