Unauthenticated factory reset via unguarded setup route
Published Feb 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 17, 2025
Missing authentication in Q-Free MAXTIME Suite 2.11.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to factory reset controllers over HTTP. The maxprofile/setup/routes.lua setup route accepts crafted HTTP requests for the reset function without verifying an authenticated identity. No account or user interaction is required, and a successful request erases configuration and interrupts controller service.
