Sensitive-file disclosure via template download traversal
Published Feb 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 17, 2025
Path traversal in Q-Free MAXTIME Suite 2.11.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive files via crafted HTTP requests. The template downloader uses a request-controlled pathname without properly neutralizing doubled triple-dot-slash sequences, allowing resolution outside the template directory. Access to a highly privileged web account is required; successful requests disclose controller-resident files without reported modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
