Unauthenticated access via exposed guest-mode activation route
Published Feb 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 18, 2025
Missing authentication in Q-Free MAXTIME Suite 2.11.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to enable passwordless guest mode via HTTP requests. The maxprofile/guest-mode/routes.lua handler exposes the critical guest-mode activation route without requiring authentication before changing the access state. Network access to the management web application is sufficient, and activation exposes the controller to unauthorized passwordless access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
