Unauthenticated file overwrite via unsanitized path parameters
Published Mar 4, 2025 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Path traversal in FlowiseAI Flowise 2.2.6 allows remote attackers to overwrite arbitrary server files through the attachments API. The unauthenticated route passes attacker-controlled chatflowId and chatId values to path.join in addArrayFilesToStorage without sanitizing them. Local storage, the default backend, permits traversal outside the upload directory and replacement of sensitive files such as the API-key store.
