DLL hijacking in NI Error Reporting in National Instruments LabVIEW 2025 Q1 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The component loads a DLL from an uncontrolled search path, allowing an attacker-planted library to run when error reporting starts. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access to place the DLL and user interaction to trigger loading on Windows.
