Administrator-session script execution via unsanitized device names
Published Jul 31, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Stored XSS in Intelbras RX1500 2.2.9 and RX3000 1.0.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The HNAP SetClientInfo and guest-network actions store unhandled HTML metacharacters from client nickname or SSID fields, which the status page renders as active markup. Administrative access is required to plant the payload; viewing the affected status data executes it with the administrator's session authority.
