Router crash via crafted IP parameters
Published Feb 18, 2025 · Updated Feb 19, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DSL-3782 firmware 1.01 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via crafted parameters. The public record identifies sstartip, sendip, dstartip, and dendip as the overflowing inputs but does not disclose the affected handler or unsafe copy operation. Exploitation requires low-privileged access from an adjacent network and causes an availability-only service interruption.
