Authenticated command execution via Fix Permissions
Published Mar 14, 2025 · Updated Mar 19, 2025
OS command injection in OpenPanel 0.3.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through the Fix Permissions web function. The Fix Permissions handler improperly treats submitted data as command syntax; the vendor does not identify the affected parameter or command-construction path. A low-privilege authenticated account and interaction with the function are required; successful exploitation runs commands in a UI container shared by all users.
