Stored browser script execution via unencoded profile fields
Published Apr 28, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2025
Stored XSS in Codeastro Bus Ticket Booking System 1.0 allows attackers to run scripts through crafted name or address values. The Daftar registration route and profile editor store these fields and later render them without output encoding in profiles and the administrative customer list. An attacker must register or edit a profile, and the script runs when a customer or administrator views the affected record; demonstrated cookie theft additionally requires a page that exposes the cookie value.
