Command injection in D-Link DIR-853 A1 firmware 1.20B07 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via virtual-server settings. The SetVirtualServerSettings module incorporates configuration input into an operating-system command without neutralizing command elements. Administrative access to the network management interface is required, after which injected commands execute in the router firmware context.
