Physical BIOS access via unset weak passwords

BIOS authentication bypass in RIS-9160 and RIS-9260 versions 3.2.0.829.23, 3.8.0.1119.42, and 4.6.0.1211.28 allows attackers to access BIOS. The Phoenix SecureCore BIOS leaves its Supervisor and User passwords unset by default while enforcing a minimum password length of only one character. Physical access to an opened roadside unit permits entry to firmware setup without credentials and exposes security-sensitive BIOS configuration.
