Unauthenticated option read and write via unchecked callbacks
Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
Missing authorization in ThemeHunk Vayu Blocks 1.0.4 through 1.2.1 allows remote attackers to read and modify plugin options. The two REST callbacks process requests without capability checks, returning toggle settings and passing keys ending in _value to option updates. No authentication is required; the consequence is limited to reading plugin options and changing options whose keys end in _value.
