Memory corruption via oversized Wi-Fi filter index
Published Feb 20, 2025 · Updated Feb 24, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda i12 1.0.0.10(3805) allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted index value. The formWifiMacFilterSet handler accepts an oversized index parameter at /goform/WifiMacFilterSet and writes beyond a stack buffer. The published assessment requires adjacent-network access and low privileges; the disclosure does not document whether corruption causes a crash or code execution.
