Configuration tampering via unauthenticated management access
Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Missing authentication in Lantronix XPort 6.5.0.7 through 7.0.0.3 allows remote attackers to alter device settings. The affected firmware exposes its Web Manager and Telnet configuration paths without requiring credentials before accepting management access. Network reachability to either management interface is sufficient to disable ATG monitoring and disrupt fuel monitoring and related operations.
