Attendance record modification via unchecked teacher identifier
Published Mar 17, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
Improper access control in Changeweb Unifiedtransform 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter another teacher's attendance records. The course-attendance endpoint accepts an attacker-selected teacher_id value without enforcing that the selected teacher owns the course. A teacher account and user interaction are required, and the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized attendance-record modification rather than account takeover.
