Teacher-level section modification via missing role checks
Published Mar 17, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
Improper access control in Changeweb Unifiedtransform 2.0 allows remote authenticated users with teacher accounts to alter section records. The authenticated section-edit workflow accepts teacher-supplied name and room values without enforcing the administrator-only role boundary. A teacher account and valid section identifier are required; successful exploitation changes scheduling data and can disrupt class assignments and room management.
