Teacher-level syllabus creation via missing authorization
Published Mar 7, 2025 · Updated Mar 7, 2025
Improper access control in Unifiedtransform 2.0 allows remote authenticated users with teacher accounts to create unauthorized syllabus entries. The /syllabus/create endpoint accepts and saves a teacher's submitted fields without enforcing the administrator-only role restriction. A valid teacher session is required, and exploitation permits unauthorized academic-content changes rather than broader administrative control.
