CVE-2025-25616Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated exam-rule tampering via missing authorization

Published Mar 10, 2025 · Updated Mar 12, 2025

Improper access control in Unifiedtransform 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to modify exam rules through the edit-rule endpoint. The endpoint accepts a student-selected exam_rule_id and saves rule changes without enforcing the administrator-only privilege described by the proof of concept. A student account and target rule identifier are required; successful exploitation can alter minimum passing marks and exam integrity.
