Authenticated attendance disclosure via unchecked section identifiers
Published Mar 10, 2025 · Updated Mar 12, 2025
Incorrect access control in Unifiedtransform 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to read attendance lists for every class section. The /attendances/view endpoint accepts attacker-chosen class_id and section_id values without verifying the teacher's assignment to the requested section. A teacher account is required, and exploitation discloses attendance records beyond the account's authorized classes without modifying them.
