Authenticated teacher data modification via unchecked edit endpoint
Published Mar 10, 2025 · Updated Mar 10, 2025
Improper access control in Unifiedtransform 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter other teachers' personal data. The /teachers/edit/{id} endpoint accepts a teacher-selected record identifier and saves changes without enforcing administrator-only access. A valid teacher account and another teacher's numeric identifier are required; exploitation changes that colleague's stored profile data.
