Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked static_ipv6 input
Published Feb 28, 2025 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Buffer overflow in TOTOlink A3002R 1.1.1-B20200824.0128 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt boa process memory via IPv6 settings. The formIpv6Setup handler copies the static_ipv6 parameter into a fixed-size buffer without enforcing its length. The request must come from an adjacent network with low-privileged access; successful exploitation can read or alter protected data and interrupt the service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
