Unauthorized virtual server changes via unprotected endpoint
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Improper access control in D-Link DIR-618 2.02 and DIR-605L 3.02 allows remote attackers to alter virtual server settings from a local network. The /goform/formVirtualServ POST handler accepts configuration changes without enforcing the administrator login required by the management interface. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and permits configuration changes that can expose internal services or disrupt existing forwarding rules.
