CVE-2025-25528Public exploit

Unauthenticated command execution via unchecked buffer copies

Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Buffer overflows in Wavlink WL-WN575A3 firmware RPT75A3.V4300 allow local users to execute commands or crash the device. Public records state that user-controlled data is copied without strict length checks, but do not identify the affected handlers, parameters, or destination buffers. Exploitation requires local access but no authorization check; command execution can compromise the appliance, while oversized input can interrupt service by crashing it.
