Device crash or command execution via firewall rules
Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Buffer overflow in H3C FA3010L firmware SWFA1B0V100R005 allows local users to crash the device or execute arbitrary commands. The firewall-rule setting path fails to verify input length before copying attacker-controlled data into a fixed-size buffer. Exploitation requires local access but no privileges or user interaction; successful exploitation can interrupt wireless service or alter device behavior through command execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
