Unauthenticated configuration changes via unprotected setup endpoint
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Improper access control in D-Link DIR-618 and DIR-605L 2.02 and 3.02 allows remote attackers to alter TCP/IP settings over a local network. The /goform/formTcpipSetup handler applies setup requests without enforcing the administrative access control expected for configuration changes. An unauthenticated attacker must reach the router from an adjacent network, and the published impact is limited to configuration integrity.
