Authenticated database compromise via concatenated classification fields
Published Feb 25, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2025
SQL injection in SeaCMS 13.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to compromise its database through admin_collect.php. The customersavecls action concatenates POST-supplied clsname and tid values into an UPDATE statement for the sea_co_cls table without parameterization. An authenticated SeaCMS session and access to the collection-management endpoint are required; successful injection grants control over application database queries.
