Authenticated database access via SQL query concatenation
Published Feb 25, 2025 · Updated Feb 28, 2025
SQL injection in SeaCMS 13.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database records through a crafted POST request. The customersavecls action concatenates POST-controlled clsname and tid fields into an UPDATE statement on the sea_co_cls table without neutralizing SQL syntax. An authenticated session is required to reach the administrative endpoint; successful injection permits unauthorized database reading or modification.
