Database read and write via unfiltered uid parameter
Published Feb 24, 2025 · Updated Mar 14, 2025
SQL injection in SeaCMS 13.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database records through admin_members.php. The search branch appends the uid POST parameter directly to an SQL IN condition without quoting, parameterization, or input filtering. A valid administrative session is required to reach the endpoint; crafted closing syntax can change the database query and expose or modify stored data.
