Service crash via unbounded serverName2 copy
Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Stack buffer overflow in AdvSetMacMtuWan in Tenda AC10 V4.0si_V16.03.10.20 allows remote authenticated users to crash the HTTP service. The affected routine passes the serverName2 POST value to strcpy without checking whether it fits in the destination stack buffer. Reachability requires low-privileged access, user interaction, and wans.flag greater than zero; the demonstrated consequence is an httpd segmentation fault.
