CVE-2025-25430Public exploit

Script execution via stored certificate name

Published Feb 28, 2025 · Updated Mar 4, 2025

Stored XSS in Trendnet TEW-929DRU 1.0.0.10 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted certificate name. The /cbi_addcert.htm handler stores the configname parameter without safely neutralizing active content before rendering it in the management interface. A user with management credentials must save the value, and another user must view the affected page; the script can redirect that browser to a malicious site.
