Database disclosure and modification via unsafe sorting
Published Apr 29, 2025 · Updated May 6, 2025
SQL injection in SLiMS 9 Bulian 9.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter data through the collection-type admin page. The coll_type.php sorting path decodes the fld query parameter and concatenates it into setSQLorder without validation or escaping. Access to the administrative endpoint and an active administrator session are required; injected SQL can disclose or modify library database records.
