Unauthenticated code execution via contactno SQL injection
Published Feb 13, 2025 · Updated Feb 14, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Land Record System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted contactno POST value. The /admin/forgot-password.php endpoint places the untrusted contactno value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. The password-recovery route requires no authentication, and successful exploitation gives the database interpreter attacker-controlled SQL that the CVE record reports can lead to code execution.
