CVE-2025-25296Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-site scripting via unsanitized label configuration rendering

Published Feb 14, 2025 · Updated Feb 14, 2025

Cross-site scripting in HumanSignal Label Studio before 1.16.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted URL. The upload_example_using_config view accepts label_config from a GET query and renders inline task HTML without sanitization while CSP is report-only. Exploitation requires a victim to visit the crafted URL; the script runs in that victim's browser context and can access session-scoped data.
