Local code execution via TCB race
Published Aug 11, 2025 · Updated Aug 11, 2025
A race condition in OpenHarmony 5.0.3 through 5.0.3.x allows local users to execute arbitrary code in its TCB component. OpenHarmony has not disclosed the shared resource, competing TCB operations, or missing synchronization primitive that creates the race. Low-privileged local access is required without user interaction; successful exploitation crosses a security boundary and can expose data or interrupt the device.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
