CVE-2025-2523Network attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via CDA integer underflow

Published Jul 10, 2025 · Updated Aug 4, 2025

Integer underflow in Honeywell Control Data Access allows remote attackers to execute code on affected Experion PKS and OneWireless WDM systems. The CDA communication path subtracts attacker-controlled integer data without adequate bounds validation, allowing the result to underflow. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can alter control data, disclose limited data, or interrupt operation.
